Barbara Gordon, TBE Foundation Executive Director

Barbara Wolf Gordon became Executive Director of Temple Beth-El Foundation in 2007. She has been a member of TBE for over 30 years. Her family has shared many life cycle events with this congregation. Her two children participated in the Temple’s education program beginning in kindergarten and continuing through Hebrew High School. They became a Bar and Bat Mitzvah and were confirmed here. Her husband served as Temple Board President and currently serves on the Foundation’s Board as Treasurer. Barbara attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a degree in Child Development and Family Life. She completed her Master of Science in Child Development and Family Life and graduated with honors from the University of Georgia. She is a recent recipient of a Stanford University Fellowship in Not For Profit Management at the Graduate School of Business. Barbara has spent her life working as a Manager in Not For Profit Programs and is committed to working with the professional team and with lay leadership to ensure that the TBE Foundation maintains a strong endowment to ensure TBE’s continued prosperity.
